A young man has fallen from a cliff at Sydney’s Coogee Beach sparking a major response from emergency services.
The teenager, believed to be 17-years-old, fell from a height of about 15 metres just after 4pm on Tuesday afternoon.
Police and several ambulance crews rushed to Dunningham Reserve, with a PolAir helicopter circling above dozens of swimmers at the packed eastern suburbs beach.
Despite the best efforts of paramedics the young man could not be revived and died at the scene, police said in a statement.
