U-High teacher accused of battery will not be charged, welcome to return to work

UPDATE 3:17 P.M. – ISU spokesperson Eric Jome says Michael Troll, the accused teacher, remains on the substitute list and is welcome to return to work at ISU lab schools.

NORMAL (25News Now) – A substitute teacher at Normal U-High will not be charged after being accused of battery.

McLean County State’s Attorney Erika Reynolds tells this to 25News.

The former full-time teacher allegedly placed his hands on a student during the noon hour, according to Illinois State University Police Chief Aaron Woodruff.
