Suspect throws brick through suburban church window

Grangia Park Police are investigating after a brick was thrown through a church window this week.

According to police, one or more unknown offenders threw a landscaping brick through a window at the northeast corner of The Village Church, located at 1150 Meadowcrest Road.

The accident occurred between 6pm on Tuesday and 2pm on Wednesday.

A footwear stain was found on an office chair directly adjacent to the broken window, police said.

The church does not seem to lack anything.

La Grange Park Police said the department took two additional reports in the past two weeks of suspicious activity.

One was before a church service was held. The second was when it appeared that a door had been left unsecured at the church after hours.

Anyone living in the area is urged to check security camera footage for potential video of this incident.

Anyone with information is asked to contact investigators at (708) 352-7711 ext. 207.
