Authorities are seeking a 33-year-old man in connection with a West Side shooting that left a 16-year-old boy dead Saturday night, Chicago police said.

The two were involved in a “physical altercation” around 8:30 p.m. when the man shot Leontaye Taylor inside an Austin home in the 100 block of North Parkside Avenue, according to police and the Cook County medical examiner’s office.

Taylor, who lived near where the shooting happened, was struck multiple times and pronounced dead at the scene, according to police.

A witness told investigators the man left the home with a handgun before police arrived.
