Florida Police Arrested in Murder of Microsoft Executive Jared Bridegan Last year, they said they believed the suspect was not working alone.
On Wednesday, Jacksonville Beach Police Chief Gene Paul Smith and state attorney Melissa Nelson said: announced Arrest of 61-year-old Henry Tennon. Tennon was charged with conspiracy to murder, second-degree murder with a weapon, incidental felony and child abuse, police said.
Nelson explained that Tennon was charged with conspiracy to commit murder because he did not act alone. He was indicted and sentenced to life imprisonment.
Nelson did not provide further details about the alleged conspiracy, but officials shared “limited information” and issued an affidavit and warrant for Tennon’s arrest over the next 30 days to protect the ongoing investigation. said to have sealed the
In February 2022, Bridegan was driving home after eating with his nine-year-old twins and two-year-old daughter. After dropping off the twins with his mother, he returned home with his daughter and came across a tire blocking the road.
“That tire was put there on purpose to stop him,” Smith said.
Bridegan put the car in the parking lot, got out, presumably to move the tires, and was “gunned in cold blood,” Smith said.
According to police, nothing was stolen from Bridegan. His girlfriend’s two-year-old daughter was strapped to the car seat during the murder.
“This was a planned, targeted ambush and murder,” Smith said.
Smith has asked Tennon or anyone with information related to the incident to contact authorities.
