It’s been a week full of uncertainty.
Will more brackets break in the upset-filled March Madness? Will more banks fail, for that matter? Will interest rates rise and by how much? Will weather phenomena called “atmospheric rivers” continue to flood westward?
A week has passed. Americans were exhausted. But this past week he had at least one sure certainty. The vernal equinox day has arrived. Spring has begun. Buds have started to bloom in some parts of the country. In other areas, daffodil and crocus shoots burst through the previously frozen ground. And despite the sports upsets and floods, despite the politics and the economy, despite the grand jury, spring has arrived.
