EAST PEORIA (25News Now) – A semi and trailer are a total loss after a Thursday morning fire at a Waste Management transfer station.
East Peoria Fire Chief Bobby Zimmerman says firefighters were called at around 3:30 a.m. to the transfer station at 3550 E. Washington St.
Damage to the truck and trailer is estimated at around $300,000.
No one was injured. The cause of the fire is being investigated.
