San Diego, California (CP) — The male driver of the Hyundai was southbound on the I-5 in the #4 lane when the female driver of the Jeep SUV suddenly left the #5 lane and hit the passenger side of the Hyundai.
The female lost control and went off of the freeway and down the right-shoulder embankment.
The male victim and 2 Good Samaritans stopped and went to aid the female.
they all said, that she kept attempting to back up the steep embankment and leave, but failed.
They attempted to speak with her, but she would not answer them.
Firefighters arrived and she communicated with them.
The female was transported to a local hospital for unknown injuries.
The male victim had a complaint of pain but refused treatment.
