San Diego (CP) — A fire believed to have been started by people throwing fireworks burnt approx 3/4 acres. The fire was threatening residential structures and producing heavy smoke into those residences. The Police were given a video of the suspects throwing the fireworks and the fire starting. Southbound Caliente Ave and the I-905 eastbound ramp were closed to traffic, while the firefighters attacked the flames.
