PHOENIX (CP) — Phoenix Fire crews responded to reports of a structure fire near Central Avenue and Buckeye Road around 11:30 PM Friday night.
Upon arrival crews found heavy smoke and flames showing through the roof of a single story structure.
According to Phoenix Fire officials, the structure is a house that had been converted into a church.
Crews quickly balanced the assignment to a working fire and secured a water supply.
Multiple hose lines were deployed as crews made entry for fire attack.
Crews achieved quick knock down on the main body of fire affectively stopping the blaze from spreading to any nearby properties.
No injuries have been reported.
Fire investigators are working to determine what caused the fire.
