A pedestrian was struck by a vehicle Wednesday night Irving Park.

At about 6:50 pm, a Honda CRV was making a right turn from eastbound Addison Avenue to southbound Avondale Avenue when it struck a pedestrian.

The pedestrian was taken in fair condition to a hospital in the area.

The motorist was charged with failing to give way to a pedestrian on a crosswalk.
