Oxnard: Driver Crashes Into House & Flees While Toppled Candles Start a Fire

Oxnard, California (CP) — Police and Fire Departments responded to a call of a sedan that had crashed into a residence at the southwest corner of Bevra Ave and N Ventura Rd.

Oxnard, California (CP) — Police and Fire Departments responded to a call of a sedan that had crashed into a residence at the southwest corner of Bevra Ave and N Ventura Rd. While first responder were en route, they were advised that some candles were toppled during the crash and a fire was starting.

Witnesses also the stated that the driver of the sedan fled the scene prior to police arriving.

The fire was knocked down in approximately 15 minutes.

No other injuries were reported.
