Officials issued wind warnings for gusty conditions for parts of Illinois and Indiana Saturday morning


The Bureau of Meteorology issued a wind bulletin Saturday morning warning of gusts of up to 45 mph over parts of northeastern Illinois and northwestern Indiana.

of Recommendation Valid until 9:00 a.m. to warn of possible tree branches toppling, unsafe objects to be blown away, and possible power outages in some areas.

This advisory also includes portions of central and eastern central Illinois.

Northwest winds were expected to reach 20 to 30 miles per hour, with gusts of up to 45 miles per hour.

The current temperature at O’Hare International Airport is 23 degrees, with a forecast high of 29 degrees. The weather forecast for Saturday was sunny, but with strong winds.
