CHICAGO – Work has begun on a new attraction in Chicago‘s Navy Pier.
The Sun-Times reports that the Indoor Flyover will occupy the space that previously housed the IMAX theater.
The ride uses a moving platform with six degrees of motion to simulate the sensation of flight.

The new ride will also include special effects such as wind, fog and scents.
The attraction is scheduled to open in the spring of 2024.
