MATTESON, Ill. (WLS) — A suspect has been charged in connection with the shooting deaths of a woman and a teenage boy in a south suburban apartment.

Kephren Ferguson, a 34-year-old man, was arrested at his residence in Hammond, Indiana after detectives Hammond Police Department SWAT and Matteson Police Department executed a search warrant there.
The shooting happened on Thursday night during an argument between two women who live at the Matteson apartment, police said. Officers responded to the 4100 block of Lindenwood Drive just before 10:30 p.m., where they found the shooting victims.
Ferguson is of the roommates’ boyfriend. The two victims were the other roommate’s siblings.
Ferguson has been charged with two counts of murder and two counts of attempted murder.
Ashiya Ogden, a 20-year-old woman, was found with an apparent gunshot wound to the head, authorities said. Darius Folds, a 16-year-old boy, was found with apparent gunshot wounds to the head and chest. Both victims live in Chicago.
Ferguson remains in custody, and will be taken to Cook County, officials said.
