A 22-year-old man was killed Thursday afternoon after multiple shots were fired while he was sitting in his car in a South Side parking lot, according to Chicago police.
The shooter was in a car parked alongside the man’s car at 1300 East 79th Street.
The unidentified man was taken to the University of Chicago Medical Center and pronounced dead after the 2 p.m. attack.
No one was in custody and detectives were investigating.
