Man seriously injured in Westloop shooting

A man was seriously injured in a shooting at West Loop on the Near West Side early Sunday morning.

Chicago police say the 26-year-old man heard gunshots and felt pain around 4:30 a.m. when he was outside 200 blocks of North Aberdeen Street.

He was taken to Northwestern Memorial Hospital with two gunshot wounds to his right leg, where police said he was in critical condition.

No one was detained.
