A man was injured in a shooting involving a police officer at West Pullman in the Far South Side on Wednesday night, officials said.
Chicago Fire Department officials said the incident occurred in the 100th block of 126th West at about 5:35 p.m.
A 52-year-old man was taken into custody with a gunshot wound to his hand.
He was taken to Roseland Community Hospital and is listed as in good condition, fire officials said.
On the same block, a 47-year-old man was shot in the buttocks, fire officials said. He was taken to Christ Medical Center in Oak Lawn, where he was also doing well.
No further information was immediately available.
