A man has died days after he was found shot in Humboldt Park on the West Side.
According to the Chicago Police Department and the Cook County Coroner’s Office, on the evening of January 18, someone in a dark gray car opened fire on another vehicle and shot Ruben Olivares in the 3200 block of West Cortez Street. .
Olivarez, 36, had a gunshot wound to his hip, police said.
He was pronounced dead five days later, the coroner’s office said.
No one was detained.
