A man was shot dead Tuesday in North Lawndale on the West Side.
Chicago police said the 25-year-old man suffered a gunshot wound to the head around 5:30 p.m. while near the 1,300-block sidewalk on North Homan Avenue.
He was taken to Mount Sinai Hospital and died hours later, according to police and the Cook County coroner’s office.
No arrests have been reported.
