Man dies after being pulled from Lake Michigan at Oak Street Beach

A man died early Wednesday morning after being pulled from Lake Michigan at Oak Street Beach.

The 21-year-old man was found unresponsive in the water at about 1:55 a.m. at Block 1000 of North Dusable Lake Shore Drive, according to Chicago Police.

He was taken to Northwestern Memorial Hospital, where he was pronounced dead, police said.

Area detectives were investigating the death.
