Johnson Co. courthouse closed due to broken beam

JOHNSON COUNTY, Ill. (KFVS) – The county courthouse is closed until further notice due to a broken beam.

According to the Johnson County clerk’s office, the courthouse is closed until the beam can be repaired. Officers have been moved into different buildings for the time being.

A board meeting is scheduled for Tuesday evening, September 12.
