All eastbound lanes on Interstate 80 are currently closed on a highway through Grundy County after multiple trucks collided Wednesday afternoon, police said.
All traffic was diverted to Interstate 105 exit after the crash, according to the Illinois State Police. Traffic is diverted to State Route 6 and allowed to exit 112 back onto the highway.
Vehicles are backing up near the Interstate 39 near the border between LaSalle and Grundy counties due to the collision, according to total traffic.
