Gunmen kill 2, injure 3 in ‘targeted burglary’ in South Shore

Two people were killed and three seriously injured when gunmen opened fire on a South Shore apartment Monday afternoon.

Chicago police and fire officials said the attack occurred around 1:45 p.m. in the 2900 block on East 78th Street.
