CHAMPAIGN — Downtown Champaign’s newest bar is set for a grand opening Friday and Saturday.
Anthem, described by its management, Champaign-based CRS Hospitality, as an inclusive, high-end cocktail lounge with a dance floor, is at 320 N. Neil St. in the former Soma Ultralounge space.
Hours are 4-10 p.m. Wednesday and 4 p.m. to 2 a.m. Thursday through Sunday. That may vary through the end of the year due to scheduled private events.
CRS says there will be a DJ in house every Thursday through Sunday, from 10 p.m. to 2 a.m.
There’s a minimum age of 19 to enter.
