Gordon Ramsay reveals details of new restaurant outside Chicago


Gordon Ramsay details a restaurant outside of Chicago that’s set to open this spring.

The menu includes Ramsay’s “best-loved dishes,” such as pan-fried scallops and sticky toffee pudding.

“I am thrilled to bring my culinary adventures to my guests in Naperville,” Ramsay said in a statement. and our team is very excited to share these dishes in this beautiful city.”

What will Ramsay’s Kitchen Naperville look like? According to his team, the 5,656-square-foot space will feel “casually elegant.” With a bar and lounge, main dining room, two private dining areas and a seasonal patio, you can enjoy a ‘relaxed and intimate setting’ for over 160 guests.

Located “in the center of the room,” the open-concept kitchen gives diners a front-row view of all the action and ingredients.

“Naperville’s history inspired the restaurant’s design,” the statement read.

Before it became a restaurant space, the Oswald Pharmacy occupied the site from 1930 to 1980.

According to Ramsey’s team, “The bar’s custom woodwork references the apothecary that previously occupied the space, and features artistic features and an original quarry built from an abandoned quarry (now Centennial Beach). We will introduce modern details while maintaining the local language, including the limestone walls.”

Celebrity chef Gordon Ramsay opens another restaurant in Illinois, this time heading to Chicago’s western suburbs of Naperville.

Ramsay’s Kitchen Naperville is Ramsay’s second restaurant in the Chicago area. He will open his Gordon’s Ramsay His Burger in Chicago in December 2021.
