Ben & Jerry’s, one of America’s most popular ice cream chains, brings back a beloved tradition.
The company will offer free ice cream on April 3rd. “Free Cone Day”.
Complimentary ice cream cones are available at Ben & Jerry’s Scoop Shops between 12:00pm and 8:00pm (to find your nearest click here.)
The promotion dates back to 1979, when founders Ben Cohen and Jerry Greenfield gave out free ice cream cones at the first Scoop shop in Burlington, Vermont.
This tradition has been on hiatus for the past four years, but it’s back at Ben & Jerry’s ice cream shops this year.
With an unlimited number of free cones, customers can try as many flavors as they want.
Ben & Jerry’s Ice Cream was founded in 1978 and is headquartered in Vermont. Ice cream products are currently sold in 35 countries around the world.
