Fox News meteorologist Adam Klotz said he was attacked by a group of teens on the New York City subway over the weekend.

In a series of Instagram Story posts, Klotz, who looks like he has bruises on his face, appeared early Sunday morning after telling teenagers to stop harassing older passengers on the subway. said it happened on the No. 1 train in Manhattan’s Chelsea neighborhood.

“I said, ‘Okay, stop,’ and they decided, ‘Okay, if he can’t get it, you’ll get it.’ said Klotz one of the clips.

“That guy, he’s out of there, he’s fine,” Klotz said of the older passenger. “And the cops got some of these kids.”

Two 15-year-olds and two 17-year-olds were arrested in the incident. CBS New York reportedPolice said they had released the three juvenile suspects to their parents pending the outcome of the investigation.

in the appearance of “Fox and Friends” On Monday, Klotz said one of the teenage suspects “set a joint on fire” and then allegedly used a lighter to set the older man’s hair on fire. After Klotz told them to stop, the group’s attention turned to him.

After they taunted him and one of them threw a punch, Klotz said he moved to another train, but they chased him and beat him.

“So I was knocked out and now I have black and blue flanks. My knees are barely bent from being kicked and hit,” he said.

He later called on New York City Mayor Eric Adams to “do something longer.”

“I don’t want this to happen to anyone else. Where are the structural problems? I don’t necessarily think these kids are the only ones having problems, like putting the police there.” he told Fox News.

The latest NYPD statistics show that annual road crime in the city is down about 27%. But Klotz’s beating was one of several violent incidents on the subway this weekend, CBS New York reported. A 34-year-old man died after being pushed onto a railroad track and injured during a brawl.
