Four injured as car collides with CTA bus, slams into Roseland business

Four people were injured when a car struck a CTA bus on Friday and the bus crashed into a building in the city’s Roseland neighborhood, officials said.

The incident was reported near East 111st Street and South Michigan Street around 6:30 p.m. The Chicago Fire Department tweeted that the bus hit 111th & Michigan Currency Exchange, 11055 S. Michigan Ave. after colliding with another vehicle.

Four people were taken to a local hospital with non-life-threatening injuries, officials said.

As of Friday evening, the cause of the crash remained unknown.
