Bakersfield, California (CP) — Fire causes major damage to SW Bakersfield home; Meantime a fire ripped through a home in southwest bakersfield last night firefighters were called to durham wheat drive near mckee road at about 10 pm.
You can see flames burning through the home’s roof as firefighters scrambled to knock down the blaze people nearby screaming to tell others to get away as a man uses a garden hose to try to stop those flames from spreading further i believe there was a resident home.
There was someone trying to put fire out when we arrived and they quickly got out of the area crews made a quick attack and put the fire out as quickly as they could.
Firefighters stopped the flames from spreading to other homes and no one was hurt no word yet on what started the blaze.
