Early voting begins Monday at two sites in all 50 wards and downtown

Second poll in one month starts in Chicago.

Early voting for the city’s runoff ballot will begin Monday and will run through Election Day on April 4.

Early voting sites will open in all 50 boroughs and two downtown locations, including the Chicago Board of Elections Supersite at 191 N. Clark St.

Each polling place is also open on Election Day. Secure drop-boxes for voting by mail are also available at all polling places.

Voters can use any site regardless of their registered address.

The site is open weekdays from 9am to 5pm. Saturday from 9am to 5pm. Sunday from 10am to 4pm. 6:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m. on Election Day.

From March 27-31 and April 3, there will be extended hours from 9:00 am to 7:00 pm at the Supersite and the Election Commission office at 69 W. Washington St. Commission offices are not open on Election Day.

In addition, three colleges will be voting early from 10:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. March 29-31 at Chicago State University (9501 S. King Dr.) and Northeastern University (5500 S. King Dr.). N. St. Louis Ave.), and the University of Chicago (Reynolds Club, 1131 E. 57th St.).

The city is also seeking applications for more poll workers. pollworker.chicagoelections.gov.

Nearly 132,000 Chicagoans voted early in the first round of last month’s municipal ballot, accounting for almost a quarter of all votes cast.
