Welcome to the Chicago Popular News community. The subject of this news is Dell unveils the new XPS 13 2022 and XPS 13 2-in-1 for the first time with 5G
here are the details.
Through a Press releaseDell unveiled the new XPS 13 and a variant thereof 2-in-1. The new proposals maintain the design already seen on the previous generation solutions, while the internal structure has been completely renovated to offer an improved product both in terms of performance and practicality.
The new XPS 13 features a chassis made entirely of CNC aluminum PEAT Gold registered. Dell’s concern for the environment has prompted the company to use an aluminum produced in certified factories that reduces the carbon footprint of the 70%, thanks to the wide adoption of renewable sources such as hydroelectricity. Available colors will be Sky blue And pink Umber.
Dominating the front of the computer is the now inevitable display InfinityEdge which features ultra-thin edges on all four sides. It is a solution IPS capable of guaranteeing an excellent viewing angle and extremely faithful colors thanks to the high contrast ratio. There is no lack of technology Eyesafe which allows you to drastically reduce the blue light in order to promote comfort to the eye even in the longest sessions of use.
What makes the difference, however, is the internal layout that the engineers have worked out by minimizing the size of the motherboard. It is a motherboard 1.8 times smaller compared to the same model of the previous year. This of course ensured more space for the speakers, for example, which they now become larger. In this way, the audio experience has been significantly improved without compromising the compact dimensions that characterize the model.
As for the 2-in-1 version, however, Dell will offer two variants that differ exclusively in the type of connectivity. This is Dell’s first proposal in the XPS range to offer the 5G connection with the possibility of inserting a SIM card directly into the computer. The variant with mobile connectivity will have the rear body made of gorilla glass to optimize antenna reception, while the variant Wi-Fi 6E (which also equips XPS 13) will be made with the same materials as the new XPS 13, returning exactly the same feeling, but with the practicality of a convertible device.
The new XPS 13 2-in-1 will include a magnetic keyboard that guarantees the experience of a real laptop, but which can be removed for the convenience of a Tablet. Dell also presented the new one stylus (sold separately) which can be recharged simply by hooking it to the top edge of the tablet and can deliver up to 50 days of autonomy.
Interesting is the photographic sector reserved for the 2-in-1 version which houses a front camera from 1080pfor smooth and detailed video calls or videoconferences, and a rear camera capable of capturing video with a resolution of 4K.
All three new entries will be powered by processors Twelfth Generation Intel Core and you can choose whether to receive the computer with pre-installed Windows 11 or Ubuntu 20.04. The new Dell XPS 13 will arrive in Italy on June 16while the 2-in-1 variants will be made available in the following months.
With the program Dell Trade Infinally, it will be possible to trade in any electronic device, even non-Dell, to accumulate credit and purchase new products. This is a program currently only available in the United States, but Dell has already announced plans to extend it to European customers as well.
