The clean-up drive was held over a 1.5-mile stretch of Potawatomi Woods – E Dundee Rd Forest Preserves of Cook County. These drives are organized to encourage the community to work hands-on to help keep the Village parks clean, safe, and attractive. This clean-up drive is opportunity for people to get more involved in their community in a way that promotes civic pride, appreciation, and awareness. By adopting a park, volunteers are helping to ensure a positive experience for other visitors and hopefully inspiring them to also care for the park.

Recent Blood Donation Drives organized by DSNDP across the United States, India, Australia, UK, Canada, UAE, Oman, Qatar, Nigeria, and Singapore to name a few, stand as strong examples of the impact of mobilizing communities within our neighborhood and the world.
