Chicago Weather: Winds below zero, only 20C on Saturday


According to the National Weather Service, temperatures will only climb into the 20s, so pack your bags on Saturday.

Parts of north-central and northeastern Illinois and northwestern Indiana could experience sporadic gusts of wind and snow showers through Saturday afternoon, meteorologists said.

Little to no snow cover and below-zero wind chill forecast for Saturday morning are expected to drop below 10 degrees in the afternoon.

As of late Saturday morning, Midway Airport had a light breeze of 15 degrees with light snow and -9 degrees of wind. At O’Hare International Airport it was a breezy 13 degrees and a wind chill of -11 degrees.
