According to Chicago police, 18-year-old Terrion Jackson and Marquest Williams and two 17-year-old boys have each been charged with four counts of armed robbery and various misdemeanors in the River North crimes. As of late Tuesday morning, no charges have been publicly announced regarding these crimes.

According to CPD, the crew robbed two men and two women in their mid-20s to early 30s on the 500 block of West Chicago Avenue, shortly before Chicago and Illinois police officers were arrested in Northern Michigan. We stopped the jeep at 700 blocks on Ave. Sunday night.

The Jeep itself was reportedly stolen Sunday from the 400 block in North State, according to CPD.

Details about the allegations and how police tracked down the Jeep are expected to be released when Williams and Jackson attend a hearing on Tuesday afternoon.

Des Plaines Police said Monday they are investigating a Jeep occupant in connection with a robbery in the Rivers Casino parking lot just before 10 p.m. Sunday.

Two men, one aged 61 and the other 67, told Des Plaines police that the Jeep was pulled behind a vehicle on the property and four people got out. The perpetrator opened the victim’s car door, held a gun to the victim’s chest, and took all the money and phone.

Within minutes of that crime, a jeep was used in a similar robbery at Mariano’s parking lot in Park Ridge, South Cumberland, in 1900.

In a media statement issued Monday, Park Ridge officials said the three men got out of the jeep as the victim emerged from a grocery store around 10 p.m. said to have stolen
