CHICAGO — The FBI is trying to track down two men who robbed a North Side bank at gunpoint Monday afternoon. A Chicago police supervisor who was dispatched to the scene said the bank’s initial loss was “pretty big,” at $112,000.

According to the FBI, two heavily armed men entered Huntington Bank, 2920 West Peterson at 4:40 pm and verbally demanded cash while showing firearms.
The criminal was last seen heading north from the bank with money in a white plastic bag. Witnesses reported the pair left the area in a gray jeep with no license plate.
A police evidence technician processed the bank, including the vault, after the robbery.
According to the FBI, the robber was a lean Hispanic man in his 20s, between 5’9″ and 5’11” tall.
