Chicago police said they suspected they shot two 18-year-old boys sitting in a jeep in the South State’s 1900 block around 3:30 p.m. on April 27.

The shooting killed Cameron Rayford and left another man with scrapes on his hand.

Shortly after the shooting, Chicago police found the stolen Kia used by the shooters abandoned near Sermack Road and State Street.
