Chicago police said one person was killed and three others injured in two shootings in Rogers Park Wednesday night. Authorities have not said whether they believe the two incidents are related.
The first shot occurred at Block 6600 in North Clark at approximately 8:50 PM.
Police said a 29-year-old man was killed after a shot was fired while three men were standing on a sidewalk. The other victims, a 43-year-old with a gunshot wound to the abdomen and a 48-year-old with a gunshot wound to the face, were each taken to hospital.

According to officers who reviewed the footage, CPD cameras recorded a faded black SUV heading back down North Shore Avenue from Clark Street as the man chased it and opened fire with his weapon.
Then, at around 10:08 pm, a 48-year-old man standing on the 1600 block in West Howard was shot in the leg. Police said the shooter approached the victim, opened fire and fled the scene. The first indications from the scene were that the victim knew the shooter.
EMS transported the Howard Street victim to St. Francis Hospital in good condition.
