Body of man salvaged from Chicago River in Lincoln Park

A body was pulled from the Chicago River in Lincoln Park on Thursday.

Chicago police said the 24-year-old man was pulled from the water around 5:30 p.m. on the 2700 block of North Levitt Street. He was confirmed dead at the scene.

Detectives were conducting a death investigation.

No other information was available.
