Faiz Shakir, a longtime adviser to Sen. Bernie Sanders, told CBS News on Thursday that he believed Vermont lawmakers would seriously consider a bid for the 2024 Democratic presidential nomination if President Joe Biden doesn’t run. “I think he’s going to take a hard look at it,” Shaquille said. “I don’t want to make judgments for him. Obviously, it’s his choice. But he’ll want to re-evaluate it.”
