After the Taliban took over Afghanistan in August 2021, a family that owns several Afghan restaurants in the Washington, DC area has decided to take action. Owners Omar and Sofia Masroor put their two older daughters in charge of her two restaurants to defy cultural norms and encourage them. Jan Crawford introduces her Masroor family on The Dish.
