PARK RIDGE, Ill. (WLS) — Park Ridge’s Pickwick Theater has a new partnership that could bring concerts to the venue.

The current owners are still working on finalizing an agreement with a new permanent owner who will hopefully take over in April.

Meanwhile, the Copernicus Foundation, a Chicago non-profit, will join the Vlahakis and Loomos family to form Copernicus @ The Pickwick.

The building, which dates from 1928, will retain its status as a cinema, but will also be able to host other entertainment, such as concerts and plays. The opening shows and performances are expected to start in September.
