A 16-year-old boy was taken down to Roseland Hospital after being shot Tuesday night, according to Chicago police.

Police said the boy was walking on the sidewalk shortly after 11 p.m. when someone in a black car opened fire and hit him in the left arm and back.

Police said the boy was in good condition at the hospital.

Other details were not immediately available. No one was detained.
