Chicago — Chicago police said Tuesday morning that one of the two people who were shot and seriously injured was killed in an armed robbery Sunday night in Princeton Park on the South Side.
Devsish Nandepu Hyderabad, 23, of Chicago, died shortly after 4 a.m. Monday morning at Christ Medical Center in Oak Lawn. He was shot in his armpit and was taken to hospital in critical condition during the incident.
According to Chicago police, he and a 22-year-old boy were near a parking lot on the 8400 block of South Holland Road around 6:55 p.m. The men complied and were shot, officials said.

The young man was hit in the chest and taken to the University of Chicago Medical Center, where police said he was in critical condition.
No one was in custody Tuesday morning.
